Mujtaba showcased his talent at the U-19 Eastern conference trials last month with an excellent performance against a strong DC team. Despite having suffered a finger injury earlier in the tournament, Mujtaba showed great resilience and gave a strong start to the team that ultimately led the New York region team to victory

Jevaughny's stunning 51 of 34 balls put the icing on the cake for what was an incredible battting effort by the QUCA boys. Jevaughny;s inning made sure that QUCA reached a very good total as opposed to just a good one. He dealt mainly in 4s and 6s and his partnership with Jermey took the sting out of the opposition. He's been a great addition to the team this year

Jeremy Samuel and Sahir Bhatia are representing the USA U19 teams in the West indies Domestic U19 tournament. This is a really proud moment for our academy to have 2 players representing the national team with an eye on selection for the USA national U19 team for the World cup qualifier. They are currently with the team in St Kitts, playing a 25 day tournament

Disguising the slower ball
There are multiple variations of slower balls that are effective in different situations and against different types of batters. But a key aspect of any of these is to be able hide them and make the change to your grip as late as possible. Here's a great clip of Ollie Robinson bowling the knuckle ball - notice how late he changes the grip giving the batter no time to pick it
