Jevaughny's stunning 51 of 34 balls put the icing on the cake for what was an incredible battting effort by the QUCA boys. Jevaughny;s inning made sure that QUCA reached a very good total as opposed to just a good one. He dealt mainly in 4s and 6s and his partnership with Jermey took the sting out of the opposition. He's been a great addition to the team this year

QUCA player Sahir Bhatia makes a dream debut in Minor League

In a rain-shortened thriller against the Manhattan Yorkers, Sahir was asked to defend just 7 runs in the final over. He responded with a spectacular burst, taking 3 wickets in 4 balls and sealing a five-run win. At the end of round 1, Sahir has the most wickets in the East zone and is third overall in the country, with 11 wickets

Disguising the slower ball
There are multiple variations of slower balls that are effective in different situations and against different types of batters. But a key aspect of any of these is to be able hide them and make the change to your grip as late as possible. Here's a great clip of Ollie Robinson bowling the knuckle ball - notice how late he changes the grip giving the batter no time to pick it
