QUCA U17 Wildcats
Aug 3, 2022
QUCA is in the U17 NYCL Finals after a 1 run win in a heart-stopping semifinal that went to the very last ball. A truly fantastic effort in the field - ICUSA were well placed at 110 without a loss in 17, with their openers easily ticking off the the runs, without giving a single chance or taking any risk. But the QUCA boys continued to show great energy and self belief, ably led by Naveer. Harsha brought in the first wicket, then another and then three by sahir turned the game around. Supported by some fine wicket keeping by Jermey and some excellent catching and fielding, ICUSA were facing a steep target of 23 in the last 2 overs but it wasn't time to celebrate yet as one of their batters scored 16 runs in the 29th, leaving Naveer to defend just 7 in the last over. But the experience of the nail biters from the last 2 days helped the team stay calm and choked the opposition to win by one run.

Running Between wickets - basic error
This video is about a basic running error committed by Tembe Bavuma in the 2nd inning of the 2nd test between AUS and SA.
There's so much to learn from this clip.
1. Labuschane's outfielding
2. Bowler's awareness to receive the throw
3. How NOT to turn for a run
4. How the margin between casual running and that extra effort is a few inches and a difference that can cost you your wicket
Watch all of it and pay attention to the commentary as well
