In August, QUCA conducted a highly successful 3 day pace bowling camp with legendary West Indian fast bowler Courtney Walsh. The camp was attended by 15 players, both boys and girls, of all age groups.
The former West Indian great touched on all aspects of fast bowling, starting with the fundamentals of grip, run-up and delivery and eventually progressing to more advanced skills. The 3 day program included various drills presented in a competitive environment, making the camp fun and challenging.
In addition to group sessions, Mr. Walsh held several 1:1 sessions with the players, working on their individual strengths and areas of improvement.
